MWC 2025 is officially underway, and Tecno is one of the companies that announced the most new hardware. The brand introduced the Camon 40 series smartphones, although we didn't get the detailed specs so it was more of an extended teaser. We learned they would come with Mediatek chipsets and Circle to Search.
Tecno also showcased Megabook S14, Megabook K15S, and Megabook T14 Air laptops, a Watch GT1 wearable and the True 2 TWS earbuds.



 
The Camon 40 smartphones will feature Tecno AI, a suite with features including AI Image Creation, AI Call Assistant, AI Writing and the in-house Ella AI assistant. They will also be water and dust resistance. A full announcement will be made tomorrow, Day 2 of MWC in Barcelona.
There will be a Camon 40 Premier with a 50 MP camera because Tecno said the AI glasses use the same camera.




 
The Megabook S14 is the "industry's lightest" 14-inch OLED laptop, with an 899-gram body and a 2.8 K resolution panel. The Megabook T14 Air is also light - 999 grams - and uses a durable magnesium alloy body. Megabook K15S's key feature is a 70Wh battery with 65W fast charging, and it is ultra-thin and all-metal.
The Watch GT 1 has expert health tracking, and Tecno calls it an ideal wrist AI assistant for health enthusiasts. The Tecno True 2 earbuds offer up to 45 dB noise cancellation and a 50-hour battery life.





 
Tecno also introduced some cool concepts and technologies. UltraLink is a wireless communication accessory that provides long-range point-to-point voice messages over distances up to 10 km in unobstructed environments. There is a photochromic technology that changes the smartphone's surface hue under sunlight.
The Phantom V Fold2 5G smartphone got a version with global satellite communication, making it the first foldable with this feature. There's also the Phantom Ultimate 2 tri-fold concept, which has a 10" display and an overall thickness of 11 mm, and, of course, the recently revealed Spark Slim, which has a 5.75 mm body.
