INTERPOL’s Operation Red Card led to the arrest of 306 suspects across seven African countries in a crackdown on cybercrime networks.

The suspects were involved in mobile banking, investment fraud, and phishing scams, targeting over 5,000 victims. Authorities seized vehicles, properties, and 1,842 devices used in cybercrime. Nigeria, South Africa, and Zambia saw major busts, uncovering SIM fraud, hacking, and online scams.

INTERPOL, working with cybersecurity firms like Kaspersky and Group-IB, highlights the power of global cooperation in combating cybercrime. By uniting law enforcement and private-sector expertise, authorities are strengthening efforts to track and dismantle cybercriminal networks, ensuring offenders face justice.
